Orin's Blog Update

Hello Everyone, Kamusta, Orin is here! I have not been updating my blog for a long time (as if there is something interesting to read...harharhar) and I totally abandoned it because at one point I lost interest and forgot why I started it in the first place and now only I recall that it does exist!

Well, since I'm not getting any younger (though i still look young and pretty...choz). I have reached the point in my life where I can share my experiences to others. I believe humans are curious creatures by nature, when we find something new and different it is our natural instinct to want to learn more about it. So now, I'm gonna share with you my journey, my story, how fun it is, what lesson I learned and how does it change my life. (will stay positive that there is).

By the way, I'm a newbie in writing so please bear with me. Your comments are highly appreciated :).

To start, I attended the ICU staff meeting at Royal Hospital. Yeah, I'm now in Oman and I have been working here for 10 months already. I belong to their so called "ICU Family".
The picture was taken in our PG center, mostly my colleagues from Pediatric ICU. If you can see on the left side, (those on their uniforms) these are our senior staff. The Indian nationals with a brown bag and having big smile have been working here for almost 20 years!!! Hahahaha...How I wish I could stay like that but I'm totally different.:)

After the meeting, we meet with Adult ICU peeps and went to a Filipino Restaurant in Al Khuwair. The name of the restaurant is "Palayok" where Filipino Cuisine is served. This was the best time to eat, as I was eating cans and disposable cups in my room (century tuna and cup noodles). I stuff my mouth with Kare Kare and Bagoong, we also ordered Bulalo, Pinakbet, and Chopsuey. So heaven, that when I went home I feel sleepy and slept for about 4 hours in daylight.

Life in Oman is very simple. The best thing here is you can meet young, active, good friends, who respect one another. Who dream of helping their Family back in the Philippines and to gain an awesome and fulfilling career as a Nurse.

Paalam! (Goodbye in Filipino Language) till my next update...mwah..mwah..mwah..:)
